“It’ll be there for three months during which time I’ll try to adapt to
English football and to the culture. I think I’m going to evolve, both
professionally and personally by doing this choice.
“[Tottenham] have this squad renewing project so they asked me to join
the team so that I will be fit to make my way in the next season.”
Uvini said that the lure of playing Champions League football was a factor in
moving to north London.
“To play the Champions League is every player’s dream,” he added.
“In the preparation period ahead of matches we used to watch the games
and play it in video games too. I hope this is the right path for me.”
